What are the rods in the top of the Webers
Attached is a pic from the top of a set of Webers. Beside the throat, there is a small metal tube which comes up between the throats. (left side of picture) There are 4 in total. What is their purpose? 3 of mine are loose and just spin. One is solid.
I have no idea what they do, if anything or whether they should be snug or loose.

Loose or snug? Does it matter? 3 of them just spin, but they don't seem to be backing out like they were threaded...
