911 leaning to left
I just noticed my 84 Carrera is slightly lower on the drivers side. Other than improper suspension adjustment, what would cause this?

Broken sway or torsion bar? Just guessing here...but it's worth having checked out. (edit) Could also be shot bushings, loose spring plate, any number of things.

I have the same problem. My mechanic says the only way to fix it is to lay off the donuts.

Reindex the torsion bars may help, unless they really are broken.

David,
Are you referring to the procedure of readjusting the caloric index ? ![]()

Set up for NASCAR? ;D
If a t-bar breaks, the car will be seriously down on one corner. |

Is it seriously leaning, or just a little bit? Have you measured your fender heights all away around to see if it's just one corner?
A broken T-bar will throw things way off, but a dead gas-charged shock will also affect the height and won't be as obvious from a performance standpoint.

Rear bushings. Mine had a list last year to one side. About 3/4" & visible from the rear.
Replacing the rear bushings did the trick. Of course I also did shocks, re-indexing, alignment etc 'while I was in there'. Ian
