There is a streak on the window at the driver's side after the opening and closing of the window. I understand that it may be caused by some dirt on the window regulator pad. I guess the dealer can take the door apart and change the regulator pad. But the problem is that I am not comfortable with them taking the door apart. I am worried that more noise and rattles will be created after having the door is being taken apart. What do you think?

Do it yourself, man!!! It very easy to get the door apart. If you have a repair manual it will show the necessary parts to remove. There is literally about 8 screws/bolts that hold it on.
Now, changing the felt pad might be a bit more involved but , hey, you hae us Pelican fellas to guide you. Just post soem pics of what you are talking about and you get more responses that you thought possible. How much does the dealer plan on charging you?!!! EDIT: I had a streak on my passenger's glass from the day I bought the car. Neve was able to polish it out. Bought a used one that works just fine. Have you tried to do this?
