Still the windows / sunroof not working!!!
 

Thanks for the input but looked at the 3 relays in the fuse box all ok there.
This morning I tried the the switches again and they all worked, then stopped working again. There are 3 more relays on the right hand side behind
dash (right hand drive car) that is accessible through the front bonnet (trunk lid) Don't know what they are for. Still searching for a cure.

SLR, I had a similar problem with my Carrera years ago. Sometimes they would work, sometimes they would not work, and occasionally a fuse would blow. I ended up tracing it to the wire bundle coming out of the fender and going into the door.. Three wires with bad insulation.. Take a close look at these wires

one fuse works windows and sunroof on later cars. don't know what year you have though. post it in your signature. corrosion on the fuse, a loose fit, or maybe it blew on the end instead of in the middle and you missed it.

I'v cleaned the fuse and connections there, I think there is a relay for that circuit some where. The car is an 86 carrera right hand drive euro.
