Sport Seat Question

Folks,

I need to recover the brown seats in my car.

I'm trying to decide if I should move to sport seats.

Any idea if sport seat have lumbar support? Can I just add extra padding when i recover or do I need to have sport seat frames?

Thanks!

krazyman,
I have sport seats in my 83sc and they are nice seats, although mine need to be re-covered. the lumbar region is not bad and the lateral support is very nice. I would upgrade to sport seats.

Do the upgrade! My '86 has them and they're GREAT! You won't be disappointed. Unfortunately, you can't modify your existing seats as they're completely different animals. Put your money towards a good used set of sport seats instead of recovering your stock seats.

Next best thing to the Recaro upgrade.

I love 'em.
