light switch help needed please
 

I have a 79 sctarga, my lights where fine then today I went to put them on and only the exterior lights would come on. No interiors would light up, I checked all the wires and every thing seemed good. Anyone have any ideas.

We need more information.

When you pull the light switch out one click, what happens? You should get a green light on the dash.

When you pull the light switch out two clicks, what happens? The green light should go out and the gauge lights should go on.

Are you saying you don't have any gauge lights, or you don't have any interior lights, like the ones above the doors and glove box?

my gauge lights turn on whether i'm running just parking lights or full headlights. do they not turn on with the parking lights on a '79??

Correct My guage lights do not come on but my headlights do

interesting..wonder why the change was made? my gauge lights work in either position.
