How Much Will 10mm Fuel Hose Stretch in Diameter?

I'm preparing to plumb in a new fuel fump with a 10mm hose barb inlet. From the parts diagram it looks as though the outlet from the tank is 11.8mm. Will a 10mm hose stretch enough to fit? This is for a 3.5 psi carb fuel system retrofit.

It will if you lube it up a bit with some gasoline or WD-40

Thanks Kurt. I think I read something about heating the end of the hose up a bit too. I still can't figure out why Porsche made the tank outlet 11.8mm.....
