Floppy sunvisor

Has anyone out there have any neat tricks to keep the sunvisors from falling down?

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

New visor clips. I found a used set from DC automotive for $10.

Try tightening the screw near the interior visor clip. The one on the visor itself.

Thanks I have tried that but it’s a bit beyond that. I have also tried to wrap foil around the chrome post that slides into the visor but still loosens up. Thanks for the suggestions.

So they're flopping because the plastic holder has become rounded right?

You can get some plastic weld from autozone. The stuff dries very hard. Put some into the hole and push the metal rod inside. Should help. In the end, it's best to get new clips. Unfortunately, as I remember, they were one of those items whose pricing made no freaking sense at all.

Yes, but I see lots of those clips on ebay for about $10.

Does anyone know the specs on the visor screws Rondinone is referring to?

My 73 does not have either of the screws and I'd like to get 2.

Thanks
