Aftermarket air condition ideas?

My 86 carrera 3.2 has had the air condition removed by the previous owner, but as i'm using the car as a daily driver and with Australian summers, I think i'll be needing air conditioning.

I know that the factory aircondition was crap on these cars, and i remember reading about aftermarket airconditioning kits that are much better then the standard system. Can anybody give me some links or prices and details for these aftermarket systems?

Thanks

I have a complete aftermarket system from my car that the previous owner spent 6k putting in! I removed it this year... it has the latest compressor and two condensers, one with an electric fan. If you're interested let me know (I'm in Toowoomba, Qld).

Otherwise RUCool on the AUS/NZ forum is an A/C specialist and may be ablle to help you out further.

i tried to PM you, but it says your mailbox is full.

How come you removed the a/c? for performance?

And what kind of price would you be asking?
