Grrrr!!! PO jacking damage
I just noticed tonight that the PO must have had the car jacked up poorly at some point in the past.
The rear passenger floor is buckled up quite a bit. Its quite a hump. The sills look fine though and the car seems otherwise unharmed. Is that of any major concern from a structural perspective? I assume that this could also become a spot for rust to start due to the stress cracks that are sure to be there. |
Nah - just beat it back down -- check the sealing. Be thankful he didn't jack it up under the oil lines...

YEP mines the same way....but I can only see it when I'm under the car;) ....I'll probly leave it alone

My PO did the same thing and I can only notice it when under the car. At some stage I may beat it back.

Just knock it back with a soft mallet. No problems when I did mine - didn't have a mallet handy, so just stomped on it with a heavy boot...

I have a bump on both sides, after I had my wheels balanced and the tracking done last time by a local garage. Unfortunately did not notice until I removed the carpet for replacement. I have a slight bump on the driver-side close to the map pocket, and a rather nasty one under the passenger seat. I will push them both out before fitting the new carpet.

Don't necessarily blame the PO, I had an inspection station do that once. These guys aren't always the brightest bulbs!
