Let us know what Al says. I have never heard of anyone who wasn't completey statified with him or his work. That is not an easy thing to accomplish in this world.

If you decide to go with different wheels be careful about going with larger diameter. I've seen an SC with 18" wheels, it just didn't look right at all to me.

Agreed, I like the look of 16's & 17's on pre 89's. I also find the ride too harsh on cars when they start dipping into the really low profile tires. My brother in law, put 19's on his E-class and required 30's IIRC. Took a car that felt like it was floating over the road and made it feel like you were riding on the bare rims. He has since gone back to stock rims and tires.
