How can I get my door jambs to shine?

No, I'm not turning into a concours king. When my car was painted it looks like the jambs were sprayed, but not buffed out. The door jambs have a rough texture with little shine. What's the best method to get the paint in the jambs to shine like the rest of the car?

It sounds like you have some overspray in there. You might ask the guy who painted it why he did not clean it up! Seriously, he might beable to recommend a product/procedure as well. I'd try a little rubbing compound fisrt folowed by wax after the rough stuff comes off. Don

If it's paint over metal, you might try a rag with some laquer thinner on it. Be careful though.

You can use a clay bar to remove the overspray.
