Porsche Crest 3.2L Carrera fan housing HELP!!!

I need to find a new fan housing. My current housing is cracked in three different places & the cracks are not small. I have looked high & low with no success. Cannot buy a new one as Porsche no longer supports this part. Have also searched through a couple of salvage yards with no results. If anyone can recommed where I can find a good used one I will be very appreciative and will pay to dollar. My 911 is down till I find a suitable replacement. The part number for the housing is 930.106.102.07

Thank You.

If PP cannot supply you with one, I got a used one from Vertex of Miami. My car was a 32. Carrera but I believe they made ana SC fan housing fit with a small mod.
Give them a call

I have the vertex housing though I haven't tried to install it yet. It's usually offered cheaply on ebay. If you use one please post how well it worked.

The Old Fan Housing was superseded with a later version. Same part. I have it on my 3.2. Bought it from Pelican. Here is the Pelican Part Number:
Fan Housing, 911 (1984-89) H-106-102-07 $530.75

My fan housing has a magnesium bubble and it occasionally, when cold, rubs the fan. Can’t reach it with the dremel, so I will try and figure another approach short of taking it out to grind it down. It bothers me Porsche is not making the housing anymore and that goes for the fan too.

Pelican sells the OEM housing and I was told they need to source it first - $544. Vertex makes aluminum fan housing - $389. Anybody have the Vertex Aluminum one installed? Anybody see issues with Aluminum vs. Magnesium? Wonder why Porsche picked Magnesium?

Look up a place called Motioneering in Wilmington, NC. I got one or two from them pretty cheap.

That sucks, I bought a new housing from Porsche about 2 years ago.

cicsprog, go ahead and take the thing out. It's really easy to do.
