cd ignition choices?
 

What choices are there other than the MSD 6A. This is for my 2.4E w/Webers. Bosch Blue coil w/stock wires. The first MSD lasted about 4 yrs and 3,000 mi. The second one lasted about 4 months and 1,000 mi. I just sent it back under warranty.

Ummmm ... how about a nice, reliable 32-year old Bosch CDI??? You don't happen to still have your old one sitting around on a shelf somewhere, do you? Even if currently dead ... it is worth fixing and using!

Is there a DIY repair page floating around someplace??

Unfortunately not. I'm stuck with looking for an aftermarket alternative.

Given the longevity of the Bosch unit which Warren has alluded to, I'd get one of those. How much do you save if you have to keep replacing an aftermarket unit? Even a good order used Bosch unit is an excellent choice.
