I feel sorry for coupe owners... (MB911 muffler thread)
I just got the first MB911 muffler for Carreras and braved the cold, wet 40 degree weather we are having today (yesterday was in the 90s).
Put it on in 30 minutes. The T-strap band goes around the hanger and the muffler, circumventing the heat exhanger tubing. Fits perfectly! Since it was drizzling, all I could do was drive around for a bit iwth the windows down. Sounded great and all that, but a little quieter than I remember the last prototype to be. Went back to work. Fidgeting about, I just went for another drive, took the top off. Oooooh, such a sweet sound, from idle to 6700. It rumbles then builds then wails. Just wow! Will have to take some pics tomorrow if it's nice as well as sound clips. Stay tuned.

I'm not so sure he's doing that bad. Yes, we are in the 90's here to, but so is our humidity. Sheesh.
Actually, knock on wood, today we are getting a reprieve. It's not too bad outside.

Hey David, how do you think I got it on so fast? the interns were helping! It was like having my own pit crew.
![]() Actually the muffler did come to work and they opened it up and wanted to know what it was all about. they are certainly learning a lot here at G9Girl! BTW, business plan may be done as early as this weekend. Looking forward to beers tomorrow night.
