87 carrera non start.

I have a 74 911 that has an 87 3.2 upgrade. It was running fine one day, and it wouldn't start the next. No spark, and I replaced the DME, still no spark. Fuel Relay is energizing.. I shot some fuel into the intake, still no start. Power to the fuel pump and Coil. I am stumped. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Are you getting power at the coil during cranking?

Yes. This is why I am stumped.. I am leaning towards the flywheel sensors.. What do you think?

Do you have a fuel injector test light? Those are pretty helpful. You should smell fuel, too, if fuel is being sprayed in.

Flywheel speed sensor could be it. Also, Cylinder head temp sensor is another one, which could take out the whole system. I'm assuming you are searching. I don't know that system well enough, but those might be good guesses. Post your resolution, when you have it.

Fuel is present, I can smell it. I never thought of the temp sender. Is there a way to test it with a meter?

Sounds like it is the speed/ref sensors acting up. I had the same problem a while back, it would crank fine had fuel, could hear fuel pump and smell raw gas at exhaust, but had no spark, I replaced the flywheel sensors and it fired right up and has been fine since. Sort of a PITA to change them out but follow the Bentley book instructions and you should have no problems. Good luck.

Check, the Cylinder Head temperature sensor connector. In my 3.2 It got loose and the car would crank over but did not start.

Well, I did the Bentley Book Meter tests on the Head temp Sensor, Check out good, but the tests for the ref and speed sensors failed, no readings at all. Where can I buy these sensors? PP does not list them.

I put the meter on both the Reference and speed sensors, they both remained Open, no Ohms present... I will replace them both. I see the "impulse sender" is requireing 2 units, is this the Speed and reference senders? What is the "Timing Mark Sender?
Thanks for the link :-)

Don't bother with the timing mark sender. It just tells you when the engine is at TDC.

Yes, the speed and reference senders are the same part. So you need 2 of #C-606-215-01.

Good luck.
