Carrera engine lid
Ok guys, this might be an idiotic question but the answer of which i have no idea. My 89 911 cab car is undergoing a turbo conversion. I am adding an IC. The stock carrera wing will not fit. If i just buy an turbo wing can I bolt it up to existing lid or is whole in stock carrera lid not big enough for a full bay ic????

I believe the holes for the carrera tail and the turbo tail do not match up.
If that is the case you would have to drill new holes for the turbo tail, or get another lid. Can someone confirm this?

You're correct, Greg.
Depending on the size of the IC you'd probably be able to get a smaller one under a Carrera tail. Not so for larger.
