Why Use A Porsche Image For This Topic?

As you know, there have been a lot of car to car shootings in L.A. over the past couple months. On one of our local news station sites, they talk about a recent occurance and use a image of a Porsche with the article. Why would they use a Porsche for this? They couldn't find something more generic? I am sure if a Porsche was really used, they would have made sure to mention it.

That's a base 944 (not even a turbo).

0-60 in 8.5 seconds or so. Not a fast get-away these days!

(Ducking from 944 owners worldwide...)

So I guess the picture of the person on the receiving end is of a bullet riddled 4 door Forest Green Camry slowing up traffic in the fast lane?:D

The shooter couldn't afford a 911?

Very few non Porsche nuts would recognize that as a Porsche. It's just a red car.

Considering you can't see the head of the driver, that is a midget with really big hands.
