Nah, TT's are welcome here. real 911 engine with actual dry sump system, right? Soooo, it's a 911.
Welcome aboard. You must hate driving up there on the weekends with all the wine tourists and the cops everywhere...
I lived in San Jose in the 80's and used to get up there when it was still kind of peaceful. beautiful roads everywhere..

Welcome to the board. 993TTs' are awesome, even though I haven't even driven a TT or even a 993. If you have any tech questions, the 993 forum might be a little more helpful: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-964-993-technical-forum/
Are you planning to do most of the maintenance yourself?

Forgot to mention that my car is actually still in the shop Hollerans Performance in Pinole we were waiting on the camshafts to come from Germany and they finally arrived yesterday so John say 1.5 to 2 weeks and it will finally be done I've been going through withdrawal not having my car to take out when I needed some therapy I've taken my girlfriends NSX out a few times and while its a great car it just doesn't quite give me the fix I need Doug

Wow! That's a lot of work. I'm sure it will run better than ever once John gets it finished. And a girlfriend with an NSX? How'd you get that lucky?

I have owned 2 NSX's and my girlfriend decided she wanted one so we found her a really nice 91 red/black so since I had never owned a Porsche I sold my 98 NSX and bought a 96 speed yellow C4S and found out I really liked the Porsche, before I bought it I had never driven one but I could tell it would be even more fun with a little extra power so I sold it and bought a beautiful white 96 TT then in a lapse of sanity I sold it and bought a fly yellow 98 355 Ferrari drove the car for 6 months and missed my Porsche TT so I sold it and started looking for another 993 TT. I plan on keeping this car for along time so I decided to set it up just like I wanted it. I really like these cars and I'm just a working stiff and the Ferrari scared me that it would break plus it just didn't have the power or easy to live with factor that the TT does so I decided to come back to Porsche ownership and I love it Doug
