Why not just keep it stock, that happens to be best way to keep your investment sound.

Leave the car original for the first 2 years. Its the rule. Then you can change stuff. If anything, restore to the original IMHO. You have a very nice car there. Theres no cool chics in NY driving classic porsches like that. Enjoy.

Didn't even notice the name in the signature.
I think you should do to the car what makes you happy when you drive it. Some people like Purism some like period correct mods and some like no holds barred. My car is off the deep end. My wifes 911 is bone stock. We both love our cars just the way they are. |
I started this thread:

Thingy!!!!

Thingy???? Isn't that a chick term?? Like "I saw his thingy"?? Seriously ..leave it alone. You have a unique car as it is..oil thingy door and all. |

Thanks for the opinions.... still not sure what to do - I am just excited that it's ALL MINE - mine to mod if I want! Where is TRE cup? Anyhow I will post some pics next time I try to fix something on the car - but for now gonna work and save some money. Oh by the way - the interior is all black but I find that boring - is it bad to someday change it to a brighter color? Like Red or a not so bright green? It won't be original but it is just the interior ? Thanks TTFN BBL K |

I used to run the "R" style tank in my 911R replica racecar. I switched to a large oil tank inside the cockpit. I still have the oil tank and cap. If you are interested I'll sell them to you
|
The inside cockpit tank sounds cool. Can you post some pictures of how that was installed? Looking forward to seeing them.

WHAT!!! Doug sweetie - the blondes are better looking in that movie byotch :) You see - I love that white R replica above - I like it because it is simple AND I can barely handle stock power in my car as it is ... meaning I am not interested in going any faster - I will wreck it! I have driven in (Alex) RB's fast car and I can't go that fast!! We used to talk alot when he used my compu during school when he couldn't afford internet. So cosmetics is all I want to change. What's wrong with a red interior!! I am going to ask my dad if he has any pics of a car like that I can post. Oopsy back to work! Lacey Chabert give me a break!!! K |
Just curious...what did the factory do to make the R? Like, what's made of steel? What's made of fiberglass? What's made of aluminum, perspex, plastic?
