Well...made it to Germany
Guys:
Some of you may know that I've taken a long term ( well sorta...4 months) assignment in Germany. Landed here June 7. Firm put me to work the first day. It's been 12 hours / day since. Weekend time too. Hard, but satisfying work. The German "team" have been great and are helping me get acclimated. Hey...GeorgeM or Smitty ( K9handler)....the info page on the "Ring suggests either an "Old-timer" event there next weekend...or open lap days? Any confirming info?...maybe we try to meet there? Darn cell phone they gave me...a German Seimens with 58 pages of instructions.....everything BUT how to turn on-off, and receive / make calls.....natch! Wil ![]() |

I was at the 'Ring 4 weeks ago ... get there no matter what you have to do !!!!!!
Funny thing was that I actually ran into Smitty in the track parking lot ![]() Here's a track calendar that is very easy to follow: http://julesperry.com/ring-2005-jp.htm That link came from Ben Lovejoy's site which is by far (IMO) the best site about the 'Ring: http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/ Have fun and be safe. It will definately be something you'll remember forever.

I have yet to get up there. Smitty, your thoughts?
Let me know where you want to hook up and I'll try to make it happen. No big plans for next weekend, although I'll have to check with my social director...
