Converting my 3.6T to EFI questions!
Hey guys,
I am looking into converting my 1994 3.6T to EFi. I am first looking at the cheapest way off doing it, and really not looking for more power than the stock motor can handle - about 550HP- i dont want to mod the engine, So i have a few q's, any answereds would be cool. 1) I am looking at using a 3.6NA intake, does my 3.6T engine have the same 3 bolt pattern as the 3.6NA intake? Are the intake size on the engine the same? if not can there be a sleeve to fit inside the intake instead of porting the head? 2) Can i use my existing throttle body with the intake or the NA one? 3)I see the TB can be rotated round to go more in the direction of the current intake... can it be made to fit the current intercooler or is the intake too high? 4) Can i use the NA fuel rails with this? 5) i think i need about 55lb injectors to run this- are these used on any p-car or any other so i buy a used set and test with to start? Cheers Miles |
I would suggest going to http://www.turbo911.com/ and ask these questions. There are some very informed turbo folks there.
I don't know of any 3.6T experts on Pelican, but hopefully someone will chime in. |
