first impressions
The wife and I took a drive through Princeton, N.C. today and ran across this one at a used car lot. Arrgghh!! I don't trust used car lots and the lack of history thing, but I liked her looks. They were closed so I couldn't do a check up. Not sure of the year either. Details: Body-very good, Interior- very good, Puzzling- tilted guages, Momo steering wheel, tail pipe(looks over-sized). Miles-87K. Thinking of calling them back. What do you think? Whats would you offer them if all is mechanically well?

OK so someone put 993 Cup wheels on a Carrera (presumably) then slaps on a carrera tail with turbo badge? Can you say "Run away?"
Just MHO, mind you, but smells like an ill-conceived frankenstein. No way to tell for sure w/o a proper PPI, but just from what you've got here, it seems a risky buy. Edward

If there's no Turbo, there's no sale.

Anything's possible - but I doubt it. If that were the case, 99% chance the Turbo engine would have a stock type intercooler, in which case the Turbo tail would have to be used. Not enough room in the Carrera type tail for that.

I like the color, and the Cup II wheels look good on it IMHO. I agree the Turbo badge says poser mobile, but if you like it, and a PPI gives it a good bill of health, I say go for it.
