Andretti's DP 935 for sale
I'm not usualy a slant nose enthusiast but this might be an exception.
I'm sure the 485 hp could change my mind :-) I wonder how much $$ she'll bring? |

I have a 79 935 DP similar to this one that im restoring and I have seen a few sell in the last 10 years. They are pretty rare so it really depends on timing. I have noticed a big increase lately in these DP 935 cars including factory slantnose cars. What was once old is new again. :-)

Gotta wonder just how many DPs Andretti owned. Buddy locally has another Andretti DP 935 and the documents to prove it..

Yeah rdane I know what you mean. Something was said before that Pete Rose bought one of his DP cars from Mario also.
I should check the title history on mine. Im not sure who bought it new in 79.

I was trying to be funny referring to the Seinfeld scene where they realized the "Jon Voight" car was actually owned by "John Voight" Sorry for the confusion.

Hey a buddy of mine sold his 930 that did belong at one time to Don Johnson of Miami Vice fame. Sucked up on Ebay...for a pretty penny. So, so car.
Did you know Helmet Bott's second coiusin twice removed that was married to a friend that lived in Germany and knew Ferry Porsche when my car sold in '79 ? I am thinking Ebay is a good place to turn when looking for legends. |

When I started looking for an SC I ran across one that had been owned by Bobby Rahal.
The story goes that his wife sent him out to buy trash cans and he came home with a new Guards Red SC instead.
