Question Wiring of power windows

Hey fellows,

I recently replaced the door panel in my 87-911. Got it from Appbiz and they look great!

However, the power windows don't seem to work properly after I put everything back together. They go up and down fine with the ignition key on but the operation with the ignition off is backwards (ie the windows work when the doors are open and do not when the doors are closed).

Did I screw up on the wiring or is there a relay that is not working properly?

Thanks for the help.

Anthony

No doubt you have the switches plugged in wrong.

Thanks Kevin.

Now to correct the situation, can somebody please share with me the correct wiring positions on the switches?

Much appreciated.

if you do a search using "window switch's" as the keywords you'll get about 16 returns. Someone recently posted the correct location of each wire

Thanks Kevin for the instructions.

Re-wired the switches this morning and it's still doing the same thing. I will check the relay tomorrow. Got to run... the sun is out today!
