Thursday Cruise Night to Kimballs in Westford MA?

Enough about "Fat bottomed" 911's, how about adding some calories to the owners waist lines???

Dotorg had the great idea for the Pelican-heads NW of Boston to meet at Kimballs Ice Cream in Westford. Kimballs already has a "Cruise Night " with the SBV8 crowd on Thursday nights at 6:00. Why not drop in with a bunch of Porsches???

There are often a lot cool street rods and friendly people, oh -- and the usual Kimballs oversized Ice Cream servings. I guess the "Cruise nights" start in June.

I'm in RI. I'll have to check a map and see how far away you guys are.
I might be up for that if I get a muffler in time.

NW of Boston , just west of Lowell on Route 495. A bit of a hike from RI, but about 30 minutes from Worcester.

I'm sure I can make it up some time. Its just another excuse to drive my car. There is another cruise night on thursdays in my area, buts it a definate V8 crowd, who I think pokes fun at my car anyway. The jokes on them though, who needs pushrods.

BTW, George and I stopped by Kimballs this evening to check out "Cruise Night". For 911 content, here's my 911 amoungst the crowd of very interesting cars. I have to admit I've always loved the sound of a TR6!

To give you a sense of the variaty of cars, here's another view of the collection of cars. This doesn't even show the T-Buckets and Hi-Boys.

Because of the crowd, overflow parking for Kimballs was $3.00 per car. But if your car is there for the "Cruise Night" (ie, it's old or interesting), you get to park in the special lot for free! Ice cream is still regular price, but they do have a separate tent set-up to service the Cruise Night patrons. They also have a band.

I'll set up a poll to see which Thursday works best.

I was just thinking about this thread tonight! I have been taking a class that meets on Thursday nights, but it ends next week so hopefully I can make it out there soon!

I'd be in for this. Must've missed this thread the first time through. I work in Leominster, so it's not that far a stretch...
