I like this chick's bod!

OK so it is kinda like dating the super model. Too pretty to look at and you don't want to get too attached because you know she is going to split some time soon.

The blue is growing on me. Big change from mocha brown! Love the metal work, light weight and power. Top end is 175+. N/S 175+!! She's jail bait!

Engine and suspension are better than I had ever hoped for.

Best yet, her looks are really beginning to grow on me....and she'll work hard all day and an still look great every night!

Color is Mercedes Benz, Quartz blue available from '98/'02

How much did you have to spend on Kate Moss to make her yours?

Mirrors? A full coverage rear view mirror shows everything you need to see B pillar to B pillar..

From the"brown. beautiful and mine" thread previously.

"OK, OK, brown isn't the best color on a 911. ...I can't think of a color I would bother to repaint my car. Guess it will always be mocha brown. Not bad for a '79 wearing original paint. Did I mention I really like my car "

New color, new body style, new engine and new interior from these pics.

What wheels are those??? Are they what you are going to stay with? Also, what is the date for the saturday get together in June. We are comming down on the 19th for a DE on the 20th. I could make it a day earlier if the get together is on the 18th....

That color shouldn't have to grow on you. It had me at hello. When I saw it in person, it was even nicer than the pics.

280hp at the wheels, 2100# and change loaded...550+ miles @ a tank of gas and a top end past 170mph. I may die in this car but I won't be bored with this one in my life time.

I do need to decide who will get to buy it when I can no longer drive though

Jeff? The wheels are powder coated Fuchs.
These are just a test set. What do you think of the "hot wheels" look? Cheap way to refinish.

Second Saturday of the month is the XXX, June 11.
Let me know which track you'll be at and I'll make a point of coming by.

What mirror are you running? How is it attached? Can you share the details and / or pictures?

Beautiful car!

Thanks,

Doug

Thanks Doug. The one I ended up using is a $8. optically chrome plated mirror that literally clips on your rear view mirror and is about 30% longer and a tiny bit taller. (you can just see the OEM mirror behind it in this pic) Clips on the rear view mirror with two big spring loaded clamps. Isn't hurting anything and really does give B pillar to B pillar views amazingly. Only down side is you have to look at yourself in the mirror.

I bought mine at the local parts store Schucks Auto Parts, $8.00 and tax. Looked pretty hooky but for $8.00 worth a try. A week later and I now think it is one of the coolest things on the car. Faster and more vision that two rear view mirrors.

Dane, you have to post more pics of that beast. I need to see your new finished roof line from diff. angles after cutting off those rain gutters. Also pics of the interior, please :-)
