Will a fuel accumulator really solve my problems?

For any that are interested, I found out that the "connection" part for a 77-79 911 doesn't do the same thing as a check valve for a 80-83 911.

But in addition to my warm-start problem, when I'm driving along and I put in my clutch too quickly when my car is at 1500 or more RPM's my car will stall on me unless I press on the gas soon enough. So is this potentially a related problem that could end up fixed after installing a fuel accumulator? Or maybe I should have something else checked since I have a light flywheel?

I have a 1977 911S with a 1983 911SC engine, is there some potential incongruencies between my 77 CIS system and my 83 SC engine that I should look into that might help?

I would appreciate your best guesses.

I think the runners from the airbox to the intake are of different sizes for a 77 cis and a 82 cis.
