74 carrera allignment issues

I have a 74 Carrera with some allignment issues. Its wearing out the inside of the front tires real fast. I took it to a local shop and they told me I have 1.7 neg camber on the fronts and that they could only adjust about .2. They moved the top of the strut as far as they could and they got me down to 1.5 and said that there is no more adjustment. I would like to get more than a few thousand miles out of the tires. Any advise

Sounds like the body is flexed inwards, which might require a strut brace (preferred) or elongating the adjustment holes on top of the towers.

How far below spec is the front height? If below Euro height then there is no way to align to spec.

Cneers,

Joe

Good point stlrj.

Always look at the simple stuff first.
