Porsche Owners Club Enduro on Speed
According to the Speedchannel Guide, Sunday, June 26, @ 3:00pm (check for your time zone) they will televise the POC Enduro. It says from Willow Springs Raceway...but wasn't this from California Speedway this year ??

Doesn't want/need a 3.6L

This year's Tribute to LeMans (as well as last year's) was held at Cal Speedway.
This car sat on pole and was 4 seconds per lap faster in qualifying than everyone else. 680+ horsepower to the wheels. Car was in the 1:35's with car builder Dwain Dement driving and in the 1:40 range with car owner Steve Bernheim driving:  Unfortunately, the car was taken out while in the lead 45 minutes in by a backmarker that didn't see him. Driver error on both parts. To finish first, first you must finish. I don't even know who ended up winning.  Ralph |
