Targa Rollbar Failure

Does anyone know of a Targa rollover where the rollbar failed in any way?

Whew! Looks like half the rollbar was crushed.

Using the term "rollbar" is too literal an interpretation of the structure IMO. In other words, I put a rollbar in my Targa.

I think it's called a "Targa bar" not a roll bar.

The question was about safety, not nomenclature. Judging from the Leland's picture, the 'targa bar" appears somewhat safe.
