I just bought the same Car!
 

Dan, I just bought a 1976 911S in Light Yellow from a guy in San Fran this past Friday. I drove her back to the Puget Sound area, and "MellowYellow" (that's my name for her) and I got aquainted along Route 1 and 101 and route 199 into Oregon. I scared the crap out of myself on some of those hairpin turns, but she held up great for the whole ride. She even spiked to 28 mpg when I held 80mph on I-5. She had a recent respray and looks awesome. Now to convince my wife to let me keep the Carrera.

BTW, Ithink I posted this car in the Cars For Sale Forum a while back. Nobody really checked into it though. The color is beautiful, I envy folks with those bright colors.SmileWavy

I am sorry that I started this new thread. I did mean to reply to Dan in Pasadena. I thought it was fairly ironic that he was buying the same Porsche and color at the same time as me.
