Owner's manual

Is there anything in the owner's manual for a 72T that's really important to have? Is it worth the $80? There's one on ebay ending soon that I might pick up, but I'm not sure there's anything in there that I can't find here in the tech forums.

Thanks.

Don't know, but Pelican carries very nice reproductions for about the same money. Original is nice, but depending on condition Pelicans repros are top rate.

I have the manual for my '72. I don't think there is any info contained in the owner's manual that cannot be found elsewhere. I don't think I have needed to reference it for anything.

fuse & bulb lists, etc. ask for a photocopy

hard to believe it's worth $80 - I better check my old boxes... maybe I can pay down my mortgage...

Be patient. I picked my 72T manual up on eBay for $29 in mint condition. The come up all the time. Wait.

Ok, thanks guys, I'll let this one go. If anyone's looking for on, the auction closes in just over 2 hours. It's got 1 bid at $25, which is pretty cheap, and these don't seem to come up too often (I've been watching, and this is the first one I've seen in a while). Here's the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7982470346&ssPageName=ADME:B:WN:MT:1

What's the fuse info in there? I've got all the wiring diagrams in the Haynes, and the inside of the fuse panel covers list what each fuse is for.

If anyone wants to scan and pm me any important info, I'd appreciate it, but aside from fuses it doesn't sound like there's much in there!

Chris

My owner's manual is beat up but original and still entirely servicable... just not something for display "en councours" :-)

That said, I did pay $20 to a dude on ebay for a 1974 Porsche Catalog... it was fun to read and see the way they marketed my car back then... it's back in plastic with my PO records now.

yup - but sometimes the fuse papers on early cars vanish
