Targa top recover Q--Is 3M the best adhesive product for this?
Are there better adhesives for this project? I've never really been impressed with this product on previous projects.

When I did mine I used the 3M spray adhesive. There are different versions depending on how sticky/permanent you want to adhere things. I think 77 is the lowest and 98(?) is the highest. I used the highest adhesion and it worked well.

I used the general Automotive Trim adhesive from CarQuest and it worked just as well as the 3M on my Targa Top rebuild 2 years ago. It looks the same and smells the same but was not 3M.
