What is this switch on the dash for?

Ok, so I don't have a pic of the switch, but it's located under the oil temp/druck pressure gauge. Sorry to be so vauge, but I don't know what else to call it.

...It's times like these I wish I had an owner's manual.

Switch for left/right selection of power side mirrors...Actual adjustment of mirrors are controlled by small stalk on top of drivers door pad near wing window....

Check your owner's manual, (if you have one) it tells what all the switches are...

Noney 06-29-2005 06:50 AM

Press it and see what happens....

tonythetarga 06-29-2005 08:52 AM

if the switch toggles left to right it is the mirror adjustment. If it toggles front to back it is the sunroof. Actually sunroof switch is closer to the sterring column but you get the drift.

or have someone else press it while you stand a safe distance away. And wear safety goggles.

That is a self automatic destruction button. With the press of that switch, in 30 seconds the car will explote. Is a emergency switch that you use in a carjacking situation to kill the thieve.

Passenger ejection module (PN 911-007 I think)

hum...just like To Fast To Furious movie. The scene when the good guys are running in the blue Yenko and the other muscle car thru Florida Keys highway.

I will buy one of those Passenger ejection module (PN 911-007) for the passenger that talk a lot during a trip.

efhughes3 06-29-2005 06:12 PM

Of course, if someone told me to press mine and see what happens, nothing would/does. My mirrors haven't worked since I bought the car-they stay at the bottom of the priority list for some reason.

It is the switch to activate their systems!

Thanks guys...I love your humorous replies, especially the safety goggles bit.

Tricky D 07-02-2005 02:09 PM

That's the Trunk Monkey switch.

Only use it when you really have to...
