As much as I like and understand the CIS on my car, I think if I were looking @ a $2300 bill for a fuel distributor only, I would make the swap to Ibitz.

Are you sure the FD needs replacing?

Instant starting, smooth running, more HP, upgrade programable tbitz EFI or weekly/monthly @#$% problems and nickle and diming on POS CIS... hmmmm, let's see. tbitz... best investment ever on my 80 SC.

Fuel pressure are really low so its either fuel pump or distributor. I will isolate the pump tonight and try again to verify thats what it is but we are talking only 25-30 psi system so It is a problem. My car may sit for a while to buy the ibitz but that may be the way to go.. if its just the fuel pump Than I would replace that but the distributor look out cause we are getting EFI

Noah your right however its clear on 2 items that could be the issue. 1 is the fuel pump 2 is the fuel distributor.. Hey just curious why did you sell yours? did you go EFI????

Noah went EFI, with the tbitz kit.

CIS fuel distributors can also be rebuilt. Do a search, I know that topic has come up a few times.
