86 Evolution Pics

Pics of the evolution of my 86 follow. Much has been done, much remains, as the transformation to track car continues.

Great color and great looking car. I was trying to talk myself out of a duck but those pics aren't helping.
Who made the tail and what were you're overall opinions of the quality? Thanks

The tail came from Rennspeed. Can' say much good about it, as it had weave showing through on one side and it was pretty warped. Color is L305 Arrow Blue, idea was stolen from Fishcop.

Very inspiring. That is a nicely executed transformation. Normally I don't like Fuchs anything but silver/blk but I like the white better on your car. What's next?

Oil cooler is an excellent idea. More lightness to follow as well. Exhaust is still stock, so it could be done at some point. All this talk about shaving rain gutters, has me thinking as well....

However in all likelyhood, it will be transforming to a minimalist interior next.

I think that MB911's (ben) two in two out muffler weighs about 12lbs and change. Guessing that stock on is in the area of 30lbs at least. They sound great too.

Rick, that looks fabulous! I toyed with the idea of white or maybe silver highlights on my car, looks like I could have taken that route safely!

Arrow Blue is a great colour...

John,

Thanks for the compliment. It truly was your car that sent me down this path!

Is that the RSR front bumper?

Where did you get it from? This is pretty much where I'm headed.

Brother,

It the IROC RSR style bumper but for an SC/Carrera flared car. It came from Rennspeed.

I like the built in splitter lip. Car looks great.

Pull off the rocker panels. You'll be surprised how heavy they are.

Rick,
That is one awesome car, and to all pelicans: That car looks a lot better in person, the camera doesn't make justice here.

Absolutely stunning! So was the car originally from Ontario, as it has ON plates on it?

Congrats on an awesome transformation!
