I have a 79SC, want to install SSI headers. How do I know if I need thick or thin flange headers?

You can look under your engine and see how thick your current flanges are. The different flanges only require different studs, but of course those are a hassle considering you can just get what thickness is on your car now and not have to change them. The thin flange are about 1/4" thick, the thick flange about 3/4"

Thin. I have a pair for sale in the parts section right now that came off my '79.

they should be thin. do a search for "thick thin flange", there was a very good thread started by island911 with photos.
