Transmission Service Cost

Got this transmission rebuild bill for a Lotus of the internet. Just wondering how much for a 911?

If a shop does the work:

$1500 in labor, 12-14 hours (includes engine drop 6-7 hours).
$1500 parts...all sychros, 1,2,3 gears 4th and 5th gears are usually okay.

This is an estimate...While you are in there is another story.

AND depending how many bearings you might need the price goes up about another grand. Dont't forget the engine/tranny drop and reinstall time/labor. 2-3 hours each way.

EDIT: Add again for clutch, flywheel resurface, and new flywheel bolts. Bottom line...start saving now.
