POC Enduro on Speed Channel - FYI
 

Thought I'd give y'all a "heads up". My channel guide says Speed Channel, 6PM Central Time Friday - Porsche Owners Club Enduro at Willow Springs! I didn't think the Enduro that was on Speed last wk was at Willow Springs, so maybe this isn't a rerun. I don't care -- any relief from all their NASCAR coverage is more than welcome, especially if it's about some of our fellow Porsche pushers, even if it is a rerun!

Maybe Speedvision has it wrong but I looked yesterday and they are saying it is from Willow Springs. I hope not, I want to see the Cal Speedway race.

BTW, it was good having you at Willow. Fun to have another P-Car out there. You should come back and run with us some more.

I could not agree more!!! The NASCAR coverage on speed is unbelievable. I have never seen such a narrow minded network in my life. It is disappointing to say the least. I cant understand how that many people can enjoy watching cars go in a circle.

I have actually sent e mails to them about the piss poor programming, but Im sure it falls on deaf ears.

Mark, Since i don't care about championships, would the powers to be in vara still let me play? the rules state one time waiver for an X car, but as you saw, my X car lacks the hp that top guys run with in CP!

I had a ball racing with the group- its been years since i last raced in vara.

I would like to think that we could have been there dicing with you guys , but mechanical woes dictated otherwise- Dat's racin' !

If you wanted to run more Dave, simply let me know. I could make a call and get your entry accepted. That is not a problem.

I think the only 2 things on your car that are of concern would be the engine and little wing on the back. I am not sure what brakes you are running on the car but those may be another issue. However, you could run as a CP3 Modified car for a full season if you chose to. After that you would be asked to make the car comply with the rules or only run selected events.

Thanks again on the Congrats. It was fun winning with my father. Pretty funny after 7 years of racing, that was the first time I have ever been in his car in race conditions. He only gave me 4 laps during the Saturday practice as well.

We were close fuel. I was not sure if I was going to make it. I was turning laps 2 seconds faster then my father was and he came in almot empty. It would have been fun to battle with you.
