Does motor oil have a shelf life...?

Okay, perhaps a silly question. A couple of years ago a bought several cases of Kendal GT1 (on special). If the container is unopened there shouldn't be problem, right?

Correct. Even if opened the only thing would be moisture contamination over time exposed to the environment.

i think i saw a couple of cans of oil at my bro's house. the old school cans, where you have to jam that sharp ended pour spout into it prior to dumping the stuff. i told him to hang onto them for fun. i think it was penzoil.

If you don't use it by the year 3000, throw it away.
