settling suspention duringcorner balance

Hi all are there any tricks for getting the suspension to settle
during adjustment? I have been standing on the cage door bars
but I still get a change if I drive the car. My bushings are needle
bearings and bronze bushings and my sway bars are disconnected. Its a pain to drive the car then put it back
on the scales.I lost a inch of rear ride hight last week after 2
track days from my original setup.I removed tbars today checked
bushings and bars all OK no binding. Any help would be great
Thanks Palmer

I use pieces of 1/4" plastic (white - I think it's polystyrene) with a slight bit of oil between them to allow the wheels to slide outward. This helps, but I still get slight differences between iterations, and I have polybronze and monoballs all the way around.
