LSD info please

What are the options for a limited slip diff in a1980 915 trans? Does the diff from a 944 fit? I read a referance to a 924 turbo part fitting and a ref to fine and course /early late etc.Can anyone enlighten me? .Anyone have a used stock type unit for sale?

The 944 unit is entirely different, but the 924 likely has the same LSD as the '78-'86 fine-splined 915 (& all 930).

Guard Transmission's latest Chromoly version of this LSD has a choice of assymetrical settings (50/80, 80/50, 25/40, 40/25) or the standard 40% & 80%.
