New Porsche owner here, (’87 Targa), and I am starting on my list of things to fix. Today I removed parts of the car phone including the holder that was mounted just behind the Automatic Heating Control and the Parking Brake Lever. I used little plastic rivets/plugs to fill the screw holes. The problem is now the parking brake warning light on the dash is on even if the brake lever is down. I must have messed up the parking brake sensor or switch. How do I get access to that sensor or switch, and how do I adjust it?

Rob-
I'm not shure if your is the same as my 71, but on mine I had to lift the rubber boot and find a screw head located at the rear of the brake handle unit. I think it has a slot that allows the screw to slide. You are supposed to pull the handle up one click, then adjust that screw until the dash light just comes on.
