OK Guess the weight again. Just for fun!
You are cordially invited to guess the weight of my track car. There are no prizes, it's just for fun. (actually you can have the ex missus - she's high maintainence)
Nine9six - well... if it upsets you, just don't bother. I'll give you one weight clue (for what it's worth) - I weighed the internal floor pan sound deadening stuff and it was 6kg (13.227lbs). Now for the rest of the spec. : Origionally a 1982 3.0LSC, now 3.2 with 40IDA Webers. No heater equipment, everything including internal control sliders removed from hood, engine compartment and cabin. All traces of sound deadening removed (only exception to this is the underside of the floor pan). All interior trim removed, all electric motors removed (sunroof, windows etc). All glass replaced with polycarb (except front screen) so no rear wiper. Origional wing mirrors replaced with lightweight motorcycle units. Front and rear bumpers replaced with fiberglass units from GT racing as is the spoiler and hood. Seats, well we could shed a few pounds here if I were to get rid of that Sparco (evo2) passenger seat and harnesses. The drivers seat is a standard Sparco Evo. Weighed with 1/4 tank of gas (driver absent). No radio/cassette and no ash tray (that ash can weigh a ton!). Any questions before you guess - just ask, but remember, it ain't serious. Some images to help your guess>>> ![]() ![]() ![]()

Wow. I actually won something.??
You can keep your ex and have my old one also.........She's somewhere in Florida, I think. I'd probably hit you up for a ride at the next track event if you were local. Enjoy.
