Need to see pics of Gold Colored 911s
All,
I am going off to war again and I am going to drop off my carrera at a paintbooth for some much needed spray. Would like to see any and every shade of gold or yellow available. thanks

ncseahawk, first good luck and be safe. below is a picture of my '86 white gold, not a great pic but all i have right now. i think it's one of porsche's best colors - manages to be understated, even on the most recognizable car on the planet. Todd

Two-Stage means that the complete paint job consist of a base color (3 coats of Gold) and a top coat of clear (3 coats of clear) thus two-stage. The other form of application would be single stage which would mean application of just the color (3 coats) but no clear coat..but you still get the gloss finish. Many, if not all, OEM finishes today are two-stage. Two-stage is very convenient way to go because the finish is much easier to match and blend in the event of scratch, fender bender etc. Hope this helps.

Does this look like White Gold or Platinum Metallic? I can't tell. The PO had it painted and it doesn't look exactly like some of the Platinum cars I have seen. What is the paint code for White Gold?
