transmision noise
My 67S has a high pitch whining sound eminating from the trans, on acceleration. When I let off the gas, it disappears. Noise is NOT that loud, but is there. Any thing to worry about.? I just got back from Hershey (about 1000 miles) and car ran fine, but that whine is still there. Any comments appreciated; Thanks;

I had exactly the same simptoms and my pinion gear was chipped from low fluid. The damage is probably already done so if it is low on fluid adding it won't help. Need a little 901 Tranny Help! is the thread that shows the damage to my tranny.
