Best motor oil for 2.4 MFI

Whats the best motor oil to use in a 72 2.4 MFI engine. ??
General condition is good running order, no smoke, leaks or rattles.

First time post. This forum is great

I used castrol 20w50 in mine, no issues

I second castrol 20w/50, stay away from synthetic unless you LIKE oil leaks

Mobil One 20/50 for my 2.4 with MFI...no leaks. But hey, nothing wrong with Dino Oil...I ran Valvoline for years with no problems.

Also 20-50w Castrol.....Oil Temps rarely get over 210 in my cool climate...

I use Mobil-1 20-50 Extended life and the leaks that I had with last year's Mobil-1 went away.

Thanks for the replies all. Looks like Castrol will be the G.O. Been using Castrol in VW motors for years now with no problemos.
