Cool My RSR in Excellence magazine.

WoW! There's a pic of my 72 RSR in this months (Sept.) Excellence magazine.
My buddy Jim Pasha put it in his Tech section on page 170.
He was doing a piece on the Lindsey Racing wheels.

I saw that! Congrats!

Does Jim read these boards? I posted a discussion thread on his Boxster spec series idea just a few pages before your pic. ...of course, nobody on the Boxster forum has responded yet...

I saw it too -- your car looks ggreeat! Also really neat article on the RSR 2.8 "silouette" in the same issue. Nice contrast between your car and that viper green RSR. And boy hasn' this site been great advertising for Lindsey Wheels. My set (8.5 & 11's) arrived 'bout a month ago - they are as awesome as I had hoped. Now gotta save up for the tires and replace my ST rear flares with RSR flares. Slippery slope.

Jememy, let's see some pics of your car. I'd like to see another hot/rat rod on the road here in the Houston area.

We need to get a drive / coffee or beer run when fall comes and it's cool enuf to run around in these non a/c cars.

cheers.

No not really. I ask him a few months ago and he said he didn't.
It was just as a thread was going about Excellence.
I sent him the link to him and he sent it to Pete Stout.
Jim and I have been talking about Spec.Boxster quit a bit.
It could be fun!
Thanks!

Hey Jeremy,
I have 2 sets of fiberglass slope race fenders.
I also have one set of steel ones with lights.
That green RSR is very nice.
I with jmz lets see pics

Hey Nine9six,
Yes! BUT only if you don't sell it on Ebay

Jim took Squerly to Road A in mid June and had fun with it.
Here is a few pics just it left the shop.

Don, JMZ -- sorry I'm not ignoring your photo request (like anyone on this board would ever miiss an opportunity to post photos of their "passion") but for some reason I'm still not able to post photos - get some "greek to me" message about something not hooking up or yada yada. Not being computer literate certainly has it's frustrations. I'll try again later.

Yea JMZ looking forward to meeting some of you Houston Pelican heads in person. We'll have to plan a 'fall' something or other. Meantime I'll keep 'turning wrenches' and get my toy on the street! Talk about $ obstacles, the latest is the announcement by my daughter that she's getting married. Can you say wedding. I can see those new Yokos I've been dreaming of riding off into the sunset now.

Doc, I saw your Porsche in excellence and was like "I know him!!". Its a shame they use such poor examples of RSRs in the magazine, you think they would have better taste...
