993 fan
Does anyone have a diagram or pictures of a 993 fan pulley? I powdercoated my fan and I need to see how the bearing assembly goes back together.
Thanks

Great, I still need to know if nuts go behind #25.
Thanks,

#25 (fan hub) is pressed into the fan, three mounting studs (#26) are screwed into the hub, these studs are used to secure the fan pulley (#10) in conjunction with the 3 nylock nuts (#27)
No nuts behind #25, there is a shaft spacer on the alt shaft though (#17) Todd

I got it, the bolts screw in from behind 25 through the holes in #10 and the spacers, secured with the nylocks outside of #10. I love this list.
Thanks,

Actually they are studs, they have provision for a small allen key in the top so they are threaded in from the front through the fan into the hub, you only want to thread them in so the tip of the stud is flush with the back of the hub. I would secure them with blue loctite and then secure the pulley with the nylock nuts.

Hmmm, either I lost my studs or they came with allen bolts in a 95 car. I put it together with the bolts that I have and I now see how everything goes. Now I am worried, but I do not recall pulling studs out of there, especially with small allen heads in the studs. Now I am on the hunt for studs in the rubble pile!

We are most likely talking about the same thing, they are studs that you can thread in by using the allen key spot in the tip, i call them studs and not bolts since they have no shoulder, you could use allen bolts as well, you just thread them in from the front into the hub through the pulley 1/2s and don't use the nylock nuts. Maybe that is the way they did it on the '95.

I just used these and they fit exactly flush to the back of the bearing plate. They seem correct, thanks for all of the help
